How do I fix Ohio Reject Code OHCOM-012?

To correct this error please take the following steps: 

  1. Select Federal Section
  2. Select Income (Select my forms)
  3. W-2
  4. Edit your W-2 using the 3 dots
  5. Click here to visit the knowledgebase article that shows exactly how the entries should be made to resolve this reject    

You have received Ohio reject code OHCOM-012. This code generally indicates that the state section of the W-2 is not entered in the format that Ohio requires.  

Additionally, please make sure that the amount you entered in the state section SD-100 has been rounded to the nearest dollar and does not have a decimal followed by cents. This can also trigger this particular reject code.
