Yes, you can still make changes to your return after paying the program fees — as long as you haven’t filed it yet.
Before you file, you can:
- Go back into your return and update your entries.
- Add or remove forms and schedules.
- Review your return by selecting Summary/Print from the left-hand menu, then clicking View Return to see a full PDF of your forms.
Note: If you haven’t your preparation fees paid yet, you’ll be prompted to do so before viewing the full return.
Once your return is filed and accepted by the IRS, you can no longer make changes in the original return. However, you may be able to file an amended return if needed.
If you have questions about your return or how to make changes, click Help & Support at the top of the page to reach our support team.
Save Progress
If you have not paid the preparation fees, you can still save your progress.
- The program will automatically save your progress throughout the Federal Section of the account.
- If you are in the state section, continue through to save the state form before logging out.
- If you are in the process of completing a form, you must click Continue to save it. Logging out while in the process of completing the form will loose your progress.
You can log back in once you have additional time to complete the return.
