When you electronically file your Federal return, your State return can be sent with the Federal return, if you have added the State return and completed the necessary information.
E-file process
Start the E-file process by clicking the option "E-file” located on the navigation bar on the left side of the page. You will be asked about your Federal return first, then the State. You may then continue the E-file process to submit your return. Your E-file is complete once you see the Congratulations screen.
If your Federal return is rejected, your State return will not be sent.
