County of Residence

- Select No if the dependent lived in your home for the entire tax year.

Spouse Lived in Your Household the Entire Year
If you are married, indicate whether your spouse lived in your household during the tax year.
- Select Yes if your spouse lived with you during the year.
- Select No if your spouse did not live in your household during the year.
Married and Spouse Died in Tax Year
- Answer Yes if your spouse passed away during the tax year.
- Answer No if your spouse was living at the end of the tax year.
If your spouse died during the tax year and the program requests additional information, enter:
- Spouse's first name
- Spouse's last name
- Spouse's Social Security number
Installment Agreement Request
- Select Yes if you are requesting an installment payment agreement with the Mississippi Department of Revenue because you cannot pay your balance in full.
- Select No if you are paying any balance due in full by the filing deadline.
An installment agreement allows eligible taxpayers to make payments over time rather than submitting the entire balance with the return.
Amended Return
- Select Yes if you are correcting a Mississippi return that was previously filed.
- Select No if this is your original Mississippi return.
Common reasons for filing an amended return include:

Innocent Spouse Relief
Innocent Spouse Relief may be available when one spouse believes they should not be held responsible for certain tax liabilities reported on a joint return.

- Select No if you are not requesting relief.
