What Can I Find in Miscellaneous Forms?
The Miscellaneous Forms section includes:
- Estimated Payment Vouchers, Form 740-ES
- Underpayment of Estimated Tax, 2210-K
- Kentucky Net Operating Loss, Schedule KNOL
- KY Form 740EXT, Application for Extension of Time to File KY Income Tax Return
Estimated Payment Vouchers, Form 740-ES
Use Form 740-ES to create estimated tax payment vouchers for future Kentucky tax payments.
Estimated payment vouchers may be needed when a taxpayer expects to owe Kentucky income tax and wants to make payments throughout the year rather than paying the full amount when filing the return.
Underpayment of Estimated Tax, Form 2210-K
Use Form 2210-K to determine whether the taxpayer is subject to an underpayment penalty for insufficient estimated tax payments during the year.
This form is generally used when a taxpayer did not have enough tax withheld or did not make sufficient estimated tax payments.
Kentucky Net Operating Loss, Schedule KNOL
Use Schedule KNOL to calculate a Kentucky Net Operating Loss deduction and any available net operating loss carryforward amounts.
For additional information about completing Schedule KNOL, see the Kentucky Net Operating Loss (Schedule KNOL) article.
KY Form 740EXT
Use Form 740EXT to request an extension of time to file a Kentucky individual income tax return.
An extension of time to file does not extend the time to pay any tax due.
Important Notes
- The forms available in Miscellaneous Forms may vary based on the taxpayer's filing situation.
- Some forms are optional and only need to be completed when applicable.
