If you choose "mailed check" as your state payment method during the E-file process, you can choose to mail your payment or pay online using the state's website. Choosing mailed check will generate a payment voucher within your PDF that will detail where to mail your check and who to make it out to.
Where do I Find the State Payment Voucher?
The payment voucher is located in the PDF for your state return. To locate the PDF, navigate to Review > Summary using the menu on the left. Once on the Tax Return Summary, select Print Return followed by Print State to generate your state return PDF. The state payment voucher is likely located at the very bottom of the PDF.
