What is the filing deadline for tax year 2025 (taxes filed in 2026)?

April 15th, 2026 is the deadline for filing your 2025 tax return and pay any tax due. This is also the deadline to file an extension request.  The deadline to electronically file 2025 tax returns will be in October, 2026.
