Last Look is a review we offer during the E-file process for simple tax returns. Last Look lets you upload copies of your documents so we can compare them with your entries in the program. The purpose of Last Look is to identify any data entry errors.
Who can use Last Look?
You will only be offered Last Look if you qualify. The offer will appear in the E-file process as an ancillary product during checkout.
How do I use Last Look if offered?
After electing to use Last Look during the E-file process, you must pay for the product. After you have paid for Last Look, DO NOT submit your return. After you pay, you should receive a message that states, "Remember to use your Last Look return review before filing. To begin the process or check your results, select 'See My Review.'" Select the "See My Review" button to be taken to the page where you can upload your documents.
Uploading documents for Last Look
When uploading your documents for Last Look, you can either drag and drop the file into the "Upload your file" box or click on it to browse your files and select the correct one.
Helpful Tips for Uploading
- 🗂 Tip #1: Upload PDFs or images in JPG, PNG, or WEBP format
- 📄 Tip #2: Use original PDFs from your employer or payroll provider
- 🔐 Tip #3: Ensure PDFs are not password-protected
- 📏 Tip #4: Each document must be under 5 MB

- Last Look is not used for tax questions; it is simply a review.
- If you E-file your return before the review is complete, the review will be cancelled. The fee is nonrefundable.
