How do I file my amended Maryland return?
Amended state returns must be paper filed. To print your amended return select Summary/Print from the navigation bar followed by View Return once you are on the Tax Return Summary. Selecting View Return generates your PDF which contains your amended state return. Simply print, sign, and mail your amended Maryland return to paper file it.
Only the amended return (not the originally filed return) and copies of supporting documents (W-2’s, 1099’s, etc.) that support the reason for the change to the tax return need to be mailed unless the state or IRS specifically ask for other documents.
