If you have not yet paid your fees, you can see them in either of these places:
- Review Section: Select Review > Print Results from the menu on the left, and you’ll be prompted to pay your fees.
- E-file Section: Your fees are listed under Products & Services during the E-file process.
Once payment has been made, where you view your fees and print a receipt depends on how you paid.
Where Can I Print a Receipt for My TaxSlayer Fees?
Your receipt location depends on your payment method. Follow the instructions below based on how you paid.
✅ If You Paid with a Credit Card or Debit Card
To view and print a receipt for your tax preparation fees:
- Log in to your TaxSlayer account.
- Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Click on Settings.
- Choose Payment History.
- Under TaxSlayer Payments, you can print a copy of the charges.
This receipt reflects all charges to your card for the tax years listed.
✅ If You Paid with Your Refund (File & Go Option)
When you choose to pay the fees from your refund:
- The IRS sends your refund to Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG), a third-party bank.
- SBTPG deducts your tax preparation fees.
- The remaining refund is deposited into the bank account you selected.
To view and print a detailed fee breakdown:
- Log in to your TaxSlayer account.
- Open your tax return.
- Go to the Summary/Print screen.
- Select Refund Agreement on the left-hand menu.
- View and print the agreement, which includes a full breakdown of deducted fees.
Once your refund has been released by the IRS or state, you can track its status and see the fees deducted and when it was deposited into your bank account by checking SBTPG.com. You can reach out to SBTPG at 877-908-7228 with questions about the refund after the IRS issues it.
Does My Package Include Past-Year Tax Return Filings?
No.
Your TaxSlayer package applies only to the current tax year (2025).
To start a return for a prior year:
- Go to your account’s Tax Home.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the three dots (⋯).
- Select the option to start a previous-year return.
Each tax year must be purchased and filed separately.
