Where you can find your tax preparation fees and print a receipt depends on how you paid. Here’s how you can locate that information based on your payment method:
If You Paid with a Credit/Debit Card:
To view and print a receipt for your tax program fees, start by logging into your account. On the left-hand menu, click Settings, then select Transaction History. In this section, you will see a breakdown of Account Charges, along with an option to print your receipt.
If You Paid with Your Refund (File & Go Option):
When you choose the File and Go option, your refund is first sent by the IRS to Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG), a third-party bank. SBTPG processes your refund, deducts the tax preparation fees, and then deposits the remaining balance into the bank account you provided when you filed your return.
If you need a detailed receipt for the deducted fees, log into your account, access your return, and navigate to the Summary/Print screen. Then, click on Refund Agreement on the left side of the screen to view and print the agreement that includes a breakdown of the fees.
