The State of Arkansas has issued the following guidance regarding income tax filing deadlines for individuals:
- Arkansas's filing deadline is April 15th, 2024. No penalties or interest will accrue if you pay the amount due on your individual income tax return by April 15.
- The deadline to make first quarter estimated tax payments remains April 15th
- If you file a federal extension, Arkansas will automatically grant an extension and extend your state filing deadline to November 15, 2024.
- If you do not file a federal extension, and wish to extend your time to file the state return, you can file an Arkansas extension using form AR1055-IT before the filing due date of April 15th, 2024. You must make your extension request by mail to:
