Recently the IRS extended the filing season from April 15th to May 17th. Although the IRS extended their deadline, not all states have conformed to the new filing deadline.
Currently, the following states have extended their deadlines to May 17th:

A handful of states still have different deadlines that affect millions of taxpayers in those states.

Arizona has yet to confirm their tax filing deadline.
*Alabama has extended the filing deadline. There will not be any penalties for paying after April 15th but before May 17th. However, interest will incur on any amounts not paid by April 15th.
