You should receive a Form W-2 from each employer you worked for during the year. This form reports your wages earned, taxes withheld, and details about certain payroll-related benefits or deductions.
By federal law, employers must send or postmark W-2 forms by January 31.
Entering Your W-2 in the Program
To enter your W-2:
- Go to the Federal section.
- Select Income, followed by "Select my forms"
- Next, choose W-2 from the Income page
- If you have more than one W-2, select Add a W-2 Wage Statement to enter each one separately.
