For the 2026 tax year, the HSA contribution limit is:
- $4,400 for individuals with self-only HDHP coverage (up from $4,300 in 2025)
- $8,750 for individuals with family HDHP coverage (up from $8,550 in 2025)
If you're age 55 or older, you can make an additional $1,000 catch-up contribution.
These limits apply to the total amount contributed to your HSA during the year, including contributions made by you, your employer, or anyone else on your behalf.
