Kansas does not have a separate Part-Year tax return. You will file as a Part-Year resident if you were a Kansas resident for less than 12 months during the tax year.
To file as a Part-Year resident, you will have to include the dates you where in the state as a resident on Form K-40 and complete Part B of Schedule S.
