How do I file my return when my parents claimed me on their return?

If someone, such as your parent, claims you as a dependent on their tax return, you must indicate this within the Basic Information section of your return. 

Log into your account and use the following pathway:

1. Basic Information (from the menu on the left)
2. Personal Information 
3. Additional Personal Information 
4. Check the box indicating you can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return, continue to save.
