Average federal refund: According to the IRS the average refund was $3,453 as of 2/21/2025.

Returns filed and refund processed: Number of returns filed refers to the total volume of tax returns (including both federal and state); dollar amounts of refunds processed refer to the aggregate refund dollars processed utilizing a TaxSlayer product in the prior calendar year.
