How do I fix Federal Reject Code IND-524?

The IRS has rejected the return because the primary taxpayer's date of birth does not match what the IRS has in their records. 

How do I fix my return? 

1. Verify the date of birth has been entered correctly
   • Select Basic Information
   • Personal Information
   • General Information
   • Resubmit the return after making the necessary corrections
2. If the information reported is correct, please contact your local Social Security Office to verify and correct the information. The Social Security Administration updates the IRS records every ten days.
3. If you are unable to correct the return or contact the Social Security Office, print, sign, and mail your return for processing this tax season through the Summary/Print menu.
