If you would like to check the status of your return, please sign in to your account. The status of your current year tax return(s) will be shown on the "Tax Home" page, which appears after you log in.
How do I know the status of my return?
Next to each return (Federal and applicable states), the status may show any of the following:
- Created
- E-filed
- Rejected
- Accepted
- Resubmit
The symbol next to the status contains additional information about the status type.
If your return was rejected, you may click "Fix Return" for more information about your submission and the errors that need to be corrected. If needed, select "Show Details" to see the rejection code and explanation. You will then need to correct any errors and resubmit the return for electronic filing again at no additional cost.
