My information is correct. Now what?
- If you have already filed your current year return and need to make corrections, an amended tax return is required.
- If you did not file an accepted return, you will need to print, sign, and mail your return with the supporting documents to the IRS. The IRS database shows a return has been accepted for the SSN on the return.
How do I mark the return as Amended?
To amend the return, log into the account and continue to the Federal Section. On the left side navigation bar, choose Amended Return. You will be prompted to pay the amended return fee before preparing the amendment. Once the payment is made, the amended return is included in your return.
