You can make Contributions on your Montana return by following the steps below:

- Contributions
The amounts you enter into the Contributions section of your return will appear on your Montana state return.
Per Montana law, you can use your tax return to donate any amount to the following programs. Your contribution will increase the amount you owe or reduce the amount of your refund. If you are amending your return, your original donations to check-off programs no longer apply. You can confirm or modify your contributions by checking the boxes or entering the dollar amount you wish to donate.
