According to the most recently updated information on the IRS website, 9 out of 10 refunds will be processed within 21 days. However, due to new tax law changes, the IRS cannot issue refunds claiming the following credits, Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit (CTC) before the middle of February. While the tax returns will be processed when received, returns containing the above listed credits will not be funded until the middle of February and may experience delays.

How do I check the status of my federal refund?
The IRS provides a link on their homepage for each individual to check their refund status and the approximate date it will be direct deposited or mailed. You may check your refund's status by using the IRS Where's My Refund? tool. You will need to have the primary social security number listed on the return, the filing status used (Single, Head of Household, etc.), and the expected refund amount.
**Please Note: The date that the funds are available in your account may vary slightly from bank to bank.
How do I check the status of my state refund?
For information about your state refund, you would need to contact your state. Because states vary in the amount of time it takes for them to process a return and issue a refund, there is no general timeline for the state refund process.

Please Note: We do not, at any point, handle money involved in refunds. Checks and direct deposits are sent from the IRS or state agency directly to the taxpayer, the taxpayer's bank or the third-party bank (if File N Go used). At no point do we receive refunds or participate in the refund process.
