If you have a state refund you can enter all or a portion of the refund amount to be applied to your next year's state tax liability for your state return.
Where do I enter the amount in the program?
Once logged into your account, access your current year return by selecting continue, then use the left-side main navigation menu and select:
- State
- Edit (select the 3 dots)
- Payments
- Apply your state refund to your 20XX return
Enter the amount of state refund that you would like to apply to next year and continue to save the change.
